The following guides contain the steps needed to configure your Office 365 Email account on your devices.
Self Password Recovery can be enabled for your account upon request. This will allow you to reset your password in the event you forget your password without contacting ECN.
Mac - Outlook 365
The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 email on Outlook 365 for Mac.
When you first open Outlook 365 for Mac, you will be prompted to add a new account.
Enter your email address and click Continue.
At the prompt, enter your password and click Sign in.
If prompted for a security code, type in your code then click Verify.
Your email has now been configured successfully. If you would like to add another account, click Add Another Account.
Click Done if you are finished.
Windows - Outlook 2016
The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Windows.
Begin by entering the start menu:
Begin typing to search for control panel. Then select Control Panel Desktop App
Use the search bar in the top right to search for mail, then select Mail (32-bit)
Click on Add...
Enter in a name for your new mail profile, and then click OK
NOTE: This will not affect the login process and is for your reference ONLY.
Fill in you details and then click Next
Wait for the checks to complete, and then click on Finish to complete the setup process. You can now open outlook to begin accessing your emails.
Windows - Outlook 2019
The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on Microsoft Outlook 2019 for Windows.
Open Microsoft Outlook 2019 by double clicking the desktop icon or searching for it in the start menu
Enter in a suitable name for your new profile and click OK.
NOTE: this will not affect the usability of the account, it is only for the purpose of identification.
Type in your email address and then click on Connect
It will load for a few seconds before opening a new window and prompting you for your password, simply type this in.
Click OK to complete the account setup!
iPhone / iPad
The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on the "mail" app for iPhone.
Open the "Settings" app by clicking the icon.
Click 'Passwords and Accounts'.
Click 'Add Account'.
Choose 'Exchange' from the list of account types.
Enter your 'Email Address' and add a description for your reference.
When prompted click 'Sign In'.
Enter your 'password' and click 'Sign In'.
If prompted for an account code, use the code displayed on your authenticator app and click 'Verify'.
If you have not enabled 2 factor authentication you will not see this prompt.
When prompted, click the checkbox and click 'Accept'.
Choose the applications you would like to use this email account with and then click 'Save'.
The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on the "Email" app for Android.
You will need to navigate to your "Settings" app first.
Tap on Accounts and backup
Tap on Accounts
Tap on Email
You will find this button at the bottom of the screen, tap on it to continue.
Tap on Office365
Enter your email address and tap next
Enter your password and tap Sign in
Tap on Accept
Tap on Apply
Tap on Activate
Your email has now been configured successfully.
Downloading Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite
The Business Premium Office 365 accounts come with the a suite of Microsoft Office applications. Use the following guide to download and install them on your computer.
Navigate to portal.office.com
Click on Sign in
Enter your email address
Enter your password
If you would like your browser to remember your sign in info, click yes, otherwise, click no
Click on Install Office
Click on Office 365 Apps
Your office setup file has begun downloading, upon completion, open the file to begin the installation
