Use the menu on the left hand side of the screen to select the user guide for your device.

ECN Management Portal

Use the ECN Portal to setup your individual emails, set passwords, configure email forwarding and auto-replies.

Logging into the Management Portal

To log into the management portal navigate to https://my.ecn.net.au and enter your Username & Password.

Note that you can click 'Register' on the right hand side if you do not already have an account and you can recover your password with the 'Having trouble signing in' button.

Guides for WebNow accounts

WebNow email can be configured on any modern email client that supports POP or IMAP with TLS encryption. You will find setup instructions for the most common devices below, or if you are an advanced user, choose 'General Settings' from the left hand menu.

Mac - Apple Mail


The following guide will walk you through configuring your custom domain Webnow email address on the "mail" app for OSX.

Open Apple Mail.

From the 'Mail' menu, select 'Add Account'.

When prompted to choose a Mail account provider, select 'Other Mail Account' and then click 'Continue'.

Enter you name, email address, and password.

Make sure you have the following information filled in:

  • Email Address: Your email address.
  • Username: This is your Mailbox ID (If you do not know what this is, contact your administrator.)
  • Password: Your password.
  • Account Type: Choose either IMAP or POP based on your preferences.
  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au

Click 'Sign In'.

click 'Done'.

You are now finished and will be taken to your inbox.

Mac - Outlook 365


The following guide will walk you through configuring your custom domain Webnow email address on the "Outlook 365" app for OSX.

Open Outlook 365.

From the overhead menu, select 'Outlook' and then 'Preferences'.

Select 'Accounts' from the menu.

In the window that shows up, click the '+' button then click 'New Account'

Enter your email address and press 'Continue'

When prompted, select, 'Choose the Provider'.

Choose 'IMAP/POP' from the list of providers.

Enter the following information:

  • Type: Choose either IMAP or POP.
  • Email Address: Your email address.
  • Username: Your Maibox ID (If you do not know what this is, contact your administrator.)
  • Password: Your mailbox password.

Incoming Mail Server

  • Incoming Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Incoming Server Port (IMAP): 993 or 143
  • Incoming Server Port (POP): 110
  • Use SSL to connect : This should be ticked only if you are using IMAP

Outgoing Mail Server

  • Outgoing Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Outgoing Server Port: 587
  • Use SSL to connect: This should be ticked.

Click 'Add Account'

If you would like to add another account, click 'Add another account', otherwise if you are finished, click 'Done'.

Windows - Outlook 2016


The following guide will walk you through configuring your custom domain Webnow email address on Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Windows.

You will need to start by opening the start menu:

Type to search for control panel and then select the Control Panel Desktop App.

Click inside the search bar in the top right and then type mail. Once the search completes, click on Mail (32-bit).

Click on the button labelled Add...

Type in a name for the new mail profile, and then click OK

NOTE: This can be anything you like, it will not affect the login process, it is for your reference ONLY.

Select the button next to Manual setup or additional server types, and then click Next >

Select the button next to POP or IMAP, and then click Next >

Fill in the details as per the following:

Login Credentials

  • Username: Your mailbox ID
  • Password: Your Password
  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au

Click on More Settings ...

Click on the tab across the top labelled, Outgoing Server

Tick the box next to My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. Leave Use same settings as my incoming mail server selected.

Finally, select the third tab across the top, labelled Advanced

Edit the fields as per below:

Incoming server:

  • Encryption type: Auto
  • Port: 143

Outgoing server:

  • Encryption type: Auto
  • Port: 587

Finally, click on OK

Now click on Next >

Outlook will now check on the settings we have configured. Once the checks succeed, click Close

Click on Finish to complete the setup process. You can now open Outlook to begin using your email account

Windows - Outlook 2019


The following guide will walk you through configuring your custom domain Webnow email address on Microsoft Outlook 2019 for Windows.

When you open the program for the first time you will be presented with the following screen

Enter in a name for the profile, and then click OK

NOTE: This will not affect the login process and is for your own reference only.

Enter in your email address and then click the drop down arrow next to Advanced options. Now tick the box next to Let me set up my account manually and click Connect

Click on either POP or IMAP

NOTE: The images in this guide will follow the process for configuring your account as an IMAP account. If you choose POP, you may use the same steps and the appropriate information will provided for you.

Enter your password and click Connect

Microsoft Outlook will now attempt to connect your account using the default settings. These will not work, in order for us to change them, click Cancel.

Click Change Account Settings

Enter the following settings:

Incoming Mail Server Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Incoming Mail Server Port (IMAP): 143 with Auto encryption
  • Incoming Mail Server Port (POP): 110

Outgoing Mail Server Settings

  • Outgoing Mail Server: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Outgoing Mail Server Port (SMTP): 587 with Auto encryption

Finally, click on Next

Type in your password and then click Connect

Replace the pre-filled username with your Mailbox ID (Found in the MyECN Portal) and then click OK

You have now successfully added your email account. To dismiss the windows, click Done

iPhone / iPad


The following guide will walk you through configuring your custom domain Webnow email address on the "mail" app for iPhone.

Open the "Settings" app by clicking the icon.

Click 'Passwords and Accounts'.

Click 'Add Account'.

Choose 'Other' from the options menu.

Enter the following information:

  • Your Name.
  • Your Email address.
  • Your Password.
  • A description for your reference.

From the top of the screen choose 'IMAP'.

Enter the following information:

Incoming Mail Server Settings:

  • Host Name: mail.webconnect.com.au
  • Username: Your mailbox ID (found in the ECN Portal).
  • Password: Your email password.

Outgoing Mail Server Settings:

  • Host Name: mail.webconnect.com.au

Once you have verified the information is correct, click 'Next'

Click 'Save' to complete the setup process.

Android

When you first click Add Account or open the program for the first time you will presented with this screen:

Enter in your email address and then click the drop down arrow next to Advanced options. Now tick the box next to Let me set up my account manually, and then click Connect.

Click on either POP or IMAP

NOTE: The images in this guide will show the process for configuring your account as an IMAP account. If you wish you use POP the process is almost identical with any changes being highlighted in the notes

Enter your password and then click Connect

Outlook will now attempt to log you in using default settings. These are incorrect, in order to change them, click Cancel

Click on Change Account Settings

Enter in the following information:

Incoming Mail Server Settings

  • Incoming Mail Server: mail.ecn.net.au
  • Incoming Mail Server Port (IMAP): 143 with TLS
  • Incoming Mail Server Port (POP): 110

Finally click Next

Input your password and then click Connect

Password Recovery


Self Password Recovery can be enabled for your account upon request. This will allow you to reset your password in the event you forget your password without contacting ECN.

Mac - Outlook 365


The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 email on Outlook 365 for Mac.

When you first open Outlook 365 for Mac, you will be prompted to add a new account.

Enter your email address and click Continue.

At the prompt, enter your password and click Sign in.

If prompted for a security code, type in your code then click Verify.

Your email has now been configured successfully. If you would like to add another account, click Add Another Account.

Click Done if you are finished.

Windows - Outlook 2016


The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on Microsoft Outlook 2016 for Windows.

Begin by entering the start menu:

Begin typing to search for control panel. Then select Control Panel Desktop App

Use the search bar in the top right to search for mail, then select Mail (32-bit)

Click on Add...

Enter in a name for your new mail profile, and then click OK

NOTE: This will not affect the login process and is for your reference ONLY.

Fill in you details and then click Next

Wait for the checks to complete, and then click on Finish to complete the setup process. You can now open outlook to begin accessing your emails.

Windows - Outlook 2019


The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on Microsoft Outlook 2019 for Windows.

Open Microsoft Outlook 2019 by double clicking the desktop icon or searching for it in the start menu

Enter in a suitable name for your new profile and click OK.

NOTE: this will not affect the usability of the account, it is only for the purpose of identification.

Type in your email address and then click on Connect

It will load for a few seconds before opening a new window and prompting you for your password, simply type this in.

Click Yes

Click Done

Click OK to complete the account setup!

iPhone / iPad


The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on the "mail" app for iPhone.

Open the "Settings" app by clicking the icon.

Click 'Passwords and Accounts'.

Click 'Add Account'.

Choose 'Exchange' from the list of account types.

Enter your 'Email Address' and add a description for your reference.

When prompted click 'Sign In'.

Enter your 'password' and click 'Sign In'.

If prompted for an account code, use the code displayed on your authenticator app and click 'Verify'.

If you have not enabled 2 factor authentication you will not see this prompt.

When prompted, click the checkbox and click 'Accept'.

Choose the applications you would like to use this email account with and then click 'Save'.

Android

The following guide will walk you through configuring your Office 365 account on the "Email" app for Android.

You will need to navigate to your "Settings" app first.

Tap on Accounts and backup

Tap on Accounts

Tap on Email

You will find this button at the bottom of the screen, tap on it to continue.

Tap on Office365

Enter your email address and tap next

Enter your password and tap Sign in

Tap on Accept

Tap on Apply

Tap on Activate

Your email has now been configured successfully.

Downloading Microsoft Office 365 Software Suite


The Business Premium Office 365 accounts come with the a suite of Microsoft Office applications. Use the following guide to download and install them on your computer.

Navigate to portal.office.com

Click on Sign in

Enter your email address

Enter your password

If you would like your browser to remember your sign in info, click yes, otherwise, click no

Click on Install Office

Click on Office 365 Apps

Your office setup file has begun downloading, upon completion, open the file to begin the installation
